The follow Information on tubing & camping you will need to know before you make your reservations.
Prices For Tubing & Camping
The Tubing Cost per person is $35.00 tax included, for that you will get your float tube, life jacket if needed,
a shuttle bus ride up river, tube for your groups coolers & tubs for snacks, sunblock, empty cans & trash.
RV &Tent Camping $20.00 per person per night.
Camper Trailer & RV electric hookups available and they go fast $25.00 per night

If you are just coming to tube for the day.
You will come to and depart from the
Located at the East Side of Eldora On Hwy 175 and the Iowa River.
All groups need to bring 30 - 55 Qt. coolers work best. Smaller or BIGGER can be a problem and consolidate items as much as possible. Less coolers is better. Play-mate, Soft side or bag coolers do not work as well. R-N-R will inspect all coolers. for GLASS BOTTLES “ CANNED BEVERAGE ONLY”. DO NOT BRING ROPE OF ANY KIND, TIEING TUBES TOGETHER IS FORBIDDEN & HAZARDOUS , R-N-R WILL RIG YOUR COOLER FOR YOU WITH R-N-R TWINE. VIOLATORS MAYBE EJECTED OR FINED OR BOTH.
EXCEPTION TO THE RULE: RNR WILL TIE SMALL KID TUBES TO ADULTS. RNR USES FOAM POOL NOODLES TO HOOK THE TUBES TOGETHER SAFELY. 3IN. ROUND NOODLES WORK BEST AND PLEASE FEEL FEE TO BRING YOUR OWN NOODLES.
MUSIC PLAYERS ON THE RIVER
YOUR MUSIC PLAYER MUST FIT INTO A RNR COOLER SIZE TUBE.
Warning: Having amplified music on an Iowa waterway could result in a DNR citation.
Keep your volume tuned down.
& Camping Prices
At Rock-n-Row Campgrounds.
We have fire rings, some with Grill Tops, they are not that desirable to cook directly on ( Bring your own Grill or Griddle). We have Food Concessions, Firewood, Flush Toilet & Continuous Hot Showers, Band Stand & Volleyball on site. Where you will be camping is right were your float trip ends. Camping or Admission is $20.00 per person per day, No Un- Registered visitors allowed at your campsite. Un-registered visitors will be removed from the grounds. Kids 5yrs. and under camp FREE (Tent or R.V.). Now if you need electricity add $25.00 per Electrical Hook-Up, per day (not per person). RNR does not allow gas powered generators for electricity, they are too noisy. All cost are tax included. This is a Private Camp right on the Iowa River with large open areas for group camping where you will have your designated areas to camp and park your autos, fewer autos makes your camp area less congested. REMEMBER TO REGISTER FIRST. A person can not just camp with Rock-n-Row you must Tube as well.( Example ) A person can camp on Friday night tube Saturday camp Saturday night and leave Sunday morning.
Clean and pick-up your campsite before leaving the campground, this does not mean pile your garbage in the fire ring, find the dumpsters are at the gate. Glass containers are not allowed, No beer, wine, whisky, bottles on site or river. We don’t care what you drink as long as it is not in a glass container. Thanks
RIVER CONDITIONS MAY RESULT IN AN EXCEPTION TO THE RULE OF TUBE TO CAMP.
Call and ask if you are not sure you understand. Nobody can just camp without tubing once in their visit.

YOUR MUSIC IN THE CAMPGROUNDS IS FOR YOUR CAMP SITES EARS ONLY NOT THE WHOLE CAMPGROUND. BE COURTEOUS OF YOUR NEIGHBORS, LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT MAYBE SUMMONED TO YOUR SITE IF THERE IS A COMPLAINT OF EXCESSIVE NOISE INCLUDING LOUD VOICES.

NO ROPE OF ANY KIND, TIEING TUBES TOGETHER IS NOT ALLOWED it is Hazardous.
RNR WILL RIG YOUR COOLER FOR YOU
USE FOAM NOODLES TO CONNECT TUBES
Rope or String can get entangled in trees and around your body parts when tubing, this is a BIG Hazard.
A PERSON MUST HAVE THE ABILITY & KNOW HOW TO SWIM TO PARTICIPATE IN RIVER ACTIVITIES
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR KEY WITH YOU ON THE RIVER
NO DIVING INTO THE RIVER, WALK IN CAREFULLY
STAY AWAY FROM DOWNED TREES OR SNAGES IN THE RIVER
STAY WITH YOUR GROUP AND LEAVE NOBODY BEHIND
ALWAYS HELP SOMEONE IN NEED
WEAR SHOES OR TIED FOOT APPAREL IN THE RIVER

RETURN ALL EQUIPMENT OR YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PAY FOR ITEMS NOT RETURNED
NO REFUNDS FOR RULE BREAKERS
BE RESPECTABLE & RESPONSIBLE AT ALL TIMES
IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING TO MANAGEMENT
DISORDERLY CONDUCT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED
ABSOLUTELY HAVE A GOOD TIME
INCLUDING OTHER ACTS JUDGED IMPROPER OR DISORDERLY BY MANAGEMENT,
VIOLATIONS OF RULES WILL RESULT IN EJECTION WITH NO REFUNDS.
Rock-n-Row is not liable for lost, stolen or damaged property on the river, lake, buses or in the Rock-n-Row campgrounds. It Ia a good Idea to keep your vehicles locked.
Tubing and Camping reservations are needed in advance so that
we know the day you plan to go, which time, 10:00, 11:30 or 1:30 shuttle and how many people
in your group . We also like to have your cell phone number.
NOTE: FOR THE KIDS AND MILD MANNERED TUBERS
Sundays, Weekdays or 10:00am shuttle on Saturday may be more desirable for the more reserved tuber or families with younger children. Less beer drinking going on then, but kids are welcome at any time if the water is not to high and they can swim. Kids Special Offer, 14yrs & under Camp for free & 1/2 price Tubing, the month of August. We have noticed more of the Senior Citizens during August too. Make a reservation for the appropriate time.
We go 7 days a week 3 times a day from Memorial Day to early September.
Our Saturdays book the fastest. Weekdays are less crowded making for a more personal float, so the sooner you make a reservation the better. We know it is hard to get all members of a group to coordinate but we will need to have the numbers as accurate as possible, so keep in touch and let us know if your numbers change or for any reason you can't keep your reservation please let us know you are canceling. Reservations maybe subject to change due to high water or weather conditions. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We check on the river conditions almost daily and can let you know approximately how long your trip will take. We prefer reservations dates & numbers of people to be 2 weeks prior to your requested date of tubing or camping. But you may call for availability at any time 641-751-3418 you may get lucky for a last minute date. Large groups may have to reserve months in advance to insure a reservation for a large group!
It is a 3-5 hour float on the average
Regardless of 4 or 8 mile trip. Rock-n-Row will make the decision on the miles of the float according to conditions of the day and river to get you an averaged 3-5 hr. float. Tubers may stay out on the river as long as they like but be back before dark or you may get cold and lost. Tubers exit the river at the Rock-n-Row Campgrounds and day parking. Parking for customer only. Violators of parking will be towed at the owners expense.

Rock-n-Row has Concessions and Firewood for sale, a barrel of wood for $20.00.
OUT OF STATE FIREWOOD IS NOT ALLOWED DUE TO ASH BORE ISSUES
